BREAKING NEWS! Kaseya Unveils Industry Disruptor Kaseya 365

At Kaseya Connect Global today in Las Vegas, CEO Fred Voccola unveiled the launch of Kaseya 365, a first-of-its-kind subscription that aims to revolutionize the way MSPs do business. Kaseya 365 gives managed service providers (MSPs) seamless access to manage, secure, back up, and automate all their clients’ environments, at a fraction of the price currently required. According to Kaseya, a global provider of IT management and cybersecurity software, this will change the unit economics for MSPs, leading to a significant and immediate increase in their profitability.

“Kaseya 365 changes the fundamental economics of the MSP’s business,” Voccola told MSP Success. He explained that Kaseya is on a mission to solve MSPs’ key challenges: vendor fatigue, lack of automation, software utilization, and limited budgets (both their own and their customers’). Many MSPs today are running their businesses with a variety of point solutions that aren’t integrated, at price points that eat into margin.

“Everything we’ve done over the past decade has led us to this moment, and I cannot wait to see our MSPs experience these immense benefits,” Voccola said. “With Kaseya 365, MSPs powered by Kaseya have a tremendous financial and operational advantage over their peers. Not only are their profits 30-50% higher, but they no longer have to make hard decisions about what technology to include for their customers based on cost.”

The Kaseya 365 subscription is inclusive of all the functionality of remote monitoring and management (RMM), antivirus protection, endpoint detection and response (EDR), managed detection and response (MDR), patch management, ransomware rollback, and endpoint backup. This all-in-one solution also includes 20 core automations to significantly enhance workflow efficiency and reduce errors. Kaseya 365 Pro is priced at $3.99 per endpoint per month; without the MDR, Kaseya 365 Express price is $1.75.

“The platform is so integrated that it feels like you’re using a Microsoft Office 365 suite,” Ranjan Singh, chief product officer at Kaseya, told MSP Success.

What MSPs Are Saying

For Glenn Kiederer, owner of Solution Generators, based in Mahopac, New York, who is already using most of the components of Kaseya 365, “this makes a lot of sense. And for somebody like me who has already rolled it out, it’s going to make me money because it’s now going to lower that cost.”

In addition, he says, it will likely allow him to move from offering several tiers of service to one bundle and be able to add cybersecurity to smaller clients who were reluctant to pay for it.

“More profit for the bottom line is always a good thing,” says Dawn Disher, CFO of Southwest Networks, based in Palm Desert, California. “We use a lot of the products already, so for us it actually will drop the prices, it looks like. You actually have to sit down and work through all that. But more than likely we will be transitioning to that. There’s actually some products [from other vendors] we wanted to get away from, and some of those [Kaseya 365 products] will be filling those gaps …. and it’s at a better price point.”

Kevin Damghani, founder and CEO of ITPartners+, an MSP headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that has acquired and rolled up several MSPs, echoed that in a panel discussion later in the day. “It’s a pretty unique approach,” he says. “So what that’s going to allow us to do is as we’re working with other companies and rolling them up, it’s going to bring our COGS, or our cost of goods, down dramatically.”

Partner First Pledge

In addition to the launch of Kaseya 365, the company today unveiled its Partner First Pledge program, which kicked off with five key initiatives:

  • All products offered in one-year and three-year agreements: While one-year and three-year agreements have always been offered for all of its solutions, Kaseya’s one-year contracts will now be more in line with multiyear contract pricing.
  • FLEXSpend: Kaseya launched FLEXSpend for Backup last year to account for the ever-changing needs of backup services that make it difficult for MSPs to make long-term technology decisions. FLEXSpend for Backup allows partners to switch between Kaseya’s suite of backup solutions so they can tailor their offerings to clients’ needs while eliminating their risk and future proofing their business. Kaseya has now expanded the program to its entire portfolio. Now, customers can reallocate their spend from one product to another, regardless of suite, to keep up with the evolving needs of the market.
  • Catastrophic Client Loss Protection: For many MSPs, losing a large client can be devastating to their business. Kaseya will now allow customers to modify or amend their contracts to account for a significant client loss so they can better navigate difficult times.
  • Price Lock Guarantee: The Price Lock Guarantee caps any increase in current customers’ product pricing to a maximum of 5%, plus any adjustments necessary for inflation.
  • Month-to-Month Contracts for Datto BCDR: With the reintroduction of month-to-month contracts for BCDR, partners can now purchase new Datto BCDR subscriptions or renew an existing contract on a month-to-month schedule to meet the changing needs of their clients, protecting profitability and respecting the evolving landscape of BCDR.

Kiederer praised the extension of FLEXSpend to all Kaseya products. “It just makes smart business sense to be able to say, ‘Hey, we know you’re spending this much money, but there might be other services, and if you don’t need that, we’re not going to hold you to that one . But move [your spend] over to here and you might actually be able to get more business because I’m going to give you the ability to try some things that you don’t have and push out to clients.”

“We are on a continuous mission to make MSPs powered by Kaseya the best, the most profitable, and the fastest growing on the planet. Period,” Voccola told MSP Success. “Kaseya IT Complete was the start of improving the efficiency and profitability of MSPs powered by Kaseya. Kaseya 365 is the catalyst to jumpstart this process, “There’s a lot more to come.”
