Bottom line, you do NOT have to “just take it” when someone bullies you, threatens you, insults you or criticizes you. You can definitely opt out of toxic, unproductive relationships and survive.
Entitlement is a very unproductive emotion and one of the main reasons many fail to achieve any real success in life and in business. They feel good things SHOULD come to them and stubbornly REFUSE to do the activities that actually DRIVE success, profits, more clients, more revenue and growth.
If you’re truly tuned in to your customers, your knowledge base and experience will grow, giving you the ability to provide more accurate insights over time. And if you know the answer, have you shared it with your team? Do THEY know your customer’s wants, desires, values and decision-making process?
I’m stunned by how many MSPs actually take heed of the NEGATIVE posts on platforms like Reddit or Facebook, when it’s a known fact that so many of the anonymous posts are made by bots or fake accounts set up by competitors and disgruntled employees.
This article is sure to fire up some well-meaning person’s hackles when they adamantly deny that THEIR relationship with their customers and employees are constructed of mutual respect and servitude – and that’s great if it’s true and not abusive to you, the business owner.
