I’m very happy to announce that TMT and Kaseya are officially joining forces. Many of you will not be surprised by this since I’ve had a long, productive relationship with Kaseya for years now.
Obviously this news will raise a lot of questions, with the primary one being, “What’s going to change?” The short answer is, not much. But since I know that’s not a satisfactory answer, I’ve outlined below answers to questions I’m sure many of you will have.
Why did they acquire you?
The leadership team at Kaseya is intensely serious about delivering more value and a better customer experience for all of their MSP clients. Rania Succar, Kaseya’s new CEO, has made it abundantly clear that she is bringing a very customer-centric focus to the way Kaseya does business. As part of that mission, they want to build a thriving, high-value community to encourage sharing of best practices and help MSPs grow their business; after all, for Kaseya to grow, their MSPs must grow.
Since we run the largest peer group in the industry and have a solid track record of helping MSPs with sales and marketing, the plan is to integrate our org with the TruPeer community to build the largest, most complete and robust peer group and business development program in the channel for MSPs.
What division are you merging into?
The plan is for us to merge TMT’s programs with Kaseya’s TruPeer and Powered Services offering, led by Dan Tomaszewski and Gary Pica. I have known and worked with both Gary and Dan for years now. Gary, Dan and all of us at TMT share a common mission: to help MSPs become the most successful version of themselves possible. We care deeply about providing value and truly taking care of our members.
I am certain you are going to see bountiful fruits from our combined efforts, benefiting YOU, beginning very soon.
Are YOU and your team staying?
Yes, we’re ALL staying, but I have made the decision to step into an advisory role, where I will be 100% focused on the members.
This is an ideal role for me because I get to continue to do what I truly love – working with all of my members to create tools, campaigns, strategies and systems to drive profitable growth.
They are also committed to keeping our entire team, so ALL the people you’ve come to know and love will still be the people you engage with.
When is the integration going to happen?
The plan is to slowly, over time, integrate our services with TruPeer and their Powered Services offering so that we take the best of both worlds and combine them into a more complete and valuable service offering for ALL members of both groups. You can count on me to continue to deliver the seminars, webinars and content.
As of today, we are only announcing this decision and nothing is integrated yet, but the plan is to start providing new benefits to both of our member groups over the next couple of months.
Is anything in the current service offering or membership changing?
No – and I want to make it abundantly clear that we are not going to reduce or take away anything in the current program you are enrolled in. We still fully and completely plan to deliver 110% of what you’ve come to expect and are paying for, whether that’s a membership, a website, a Sherpa and all of the resources on the member Dashboard. If anything, we plan on providing MORE resources, tools and support to all members.
Will anything change in my contract (terms, price, conditions, etc.)?
No. Your contract is still with TMT, and we are not diminishing or reducing anything that you are paying for.
If I have further questions, who do I reach out to?
The first person to connect with is your Client Success Manager. They will be able to either answer your question OR get you to a person who can.
Final Thoughts:
I want to be clear that this is NOT “the end.” This is simply a change. A new chapter. But I know that people fear change, so let me address those of you who might be a little concerned about this news…
Please give us the benefit of the doubt and stay with us through this transition in the coming months. Let us show you how we are going to deliver even more value. Let us demonstrate how this is actually going to be a net positive for you. I know most of you will, and I appreciate it. I hope we’ve earned at least the opportunity to prove it to you.
