ConnectWise today made several major announcements at IT Nation Secure, taking place this week in Orlando, Florida:
- PSA powered by Asio
- ConnectWise Pro, an all-in-one bundle with two different pricing options
- ConnectWise Endpoint Management & Security for M365, a turnkey solution created in partnership with Microsoft and Pax8
- The next evolution of ConnectWise SIEM
The conference kicked off yesterday. Pictured above is a panel discussion with ConnectWise CISO Patrick Beggs.
PSA Powered by Asio
With PSA Powered by Asio, which ConnectWise previewed last fall at IT Nation Connect, ConnectWise continues to deliver on its Asio platform strategy. Now both the ConnectWise PSA and RMM share a common interface and design language; data for companies, contacts, tickets, and assets; embedded automation via the Sidekick and RPA with prebuilt workflows; and support for multiple languages and updated calendar and billing functionality.
“This truly seamless experience helps our partners simplify operations, drive efficiency, and scale faster,” said Manny Rivelo, CEO of ConnectWise, in a press statement. “With PSA and RMM under Asio, this is a foundational moment for our platform strategy, that delivers a unique experience and prepares our partners for what’s next.”
The initial release will be available to early partner cohorts in July, with monthly enhancements planned throughout the remainder of 2025. Current PSA customers have an upgrade path to the Asio-native experience, according to the company.
New All-in-One Bundle: ConnectWise Pro
The new ConnectWise Pro is an all-in-one package that includes PSA, RMM, RPA, remote support, documentation, reporting, and Configure Price Quote (CPQ). Offered as a single contract, MSPs can choose to adopt an end-user pricing model or an endpoint pricing model.
The bundle also includes AI-powered automation tools, such as AI-generated scripting through Sidekick for RMM and AI-assisted search capabilities for ConnectWise University and Virtual Community resources. In addition, the bundle offers natural language bot creation through ConnectWise RPA Pro to automate routine MSP tasks and reduce manual workloads.
ConnectWise Pro will be available beginning in July 2025.
ConnectWise executives at IT Nation Connect last fall were asked if they planned a bundled offering in response to the Kaseya 365 Endpoint all-in-one offering announced last year. At a press conference at the event, Rivelo said there would be new strategies around pricing in 2025.
ConnectWise Endpoint Management & Security for M365
Available through Pax8, the new ConnectWise Endpoint Management & Security for M365 includes Microsoft 365 Business Premium, ConnectWise RMM Pro, MDR for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and M365, and the ConnectWise Backup and Security Dashboards (formerly Backup360 and Security360).
“At Microsoft, helping our customers stay secure is the highest priority. To support our SMB enterprises, our goal is to equip partners with the best-in-class security solutions,” said Erwin Visser, general manager, Microsoft, in a press statement. “Microsoft 365 Business Premium delivers security capabilities typically reserved for large Enterprises, and when combined with ConnectWise Automation and SOC services, MSPs can deliver powerful security-first experiences to their clients.”
“This is exactly the kind of ecosystem innovation Pax8 was built to support,” said Nick Heddy, chief commerce officer at Pax8, in a press statement. “With a single solution, MSPs can now access Microsoft licensing, endpoint security, automation, and managed detection and response — all integrated and all available through our marketplace.”
MSPs can begin provisioning the package in early Q3 2025.
ConnectWise SIEM
Built on the Asio platform, the latest version of ConnectWise SIEM features a redesigned interface that integrates seamlessly with the ConnectWise Security Dashboard (formerly ConnectWise Security360).
New features include centralized monitoring and advanced threat detection; streamlined alert management and investigation tools; and automated reporting and customizable dashboards.
CEO Manny Rivelo Advancing the Asio Platform
In a Q&A with MSP Success last October, Rivelo said he would be leaning in to ConnectWise’s next stage of growth. Also, when asked if he planned a response to competitors rolling out aggressively priced bundles, he said, “We will always respond to the market dynamics. We are not going to be priced out.”
Since taking the helm as CEO last September, Rivelo has made a number of leadership changes, including the appoints this March of Mari-Frances Bentvelzen as chief customer officer, replacing Alan Komet, who transitioned into the newly created role of chief strategy and transformation officer; and Dan Madden as CFO, replacing Rik Thorbecke. Also in March, ConnectWise announced a new Partner Communities business unit that integrates three ConnectWise programs: IT Nation, Service Leadership, and Partner Advisory Councils (PACs). Peter Kujawa is now leading this initiative as EVP of Service.
These appointments came on the heels of several key leadership departures in February. These included CTO Raghu Bongula; Jake Varghese, executive vice president and GM; Ameer Karim, executive vice president and GM, cybersecurity and data protection; Rafael Marty, SVP of product management; and Gregg Lalle, SVP and GM, IT Nation.
