Cavelo, an attack surface management platform provider, is ramping up its MSP partner program and promising to put the “meat and potatoes” into its relationships, helping MSPs go to market and grow their revenue. Founded in 2020, Cavelo launched its first partner program in 2022. This January, the Kitchener, Ontario-based company announced its first channel chief, Larry Meador.
Cavelo Attack Surface Management platform has four modules: data discovery and classification, identity access management, risk-based vulnerability management, and asset discovery. The company believes that knowing where a customer’s data lives and what data they have will help MSPs align those customers to industry best practices so they can achieve regulatory compliance, and manage overall cybersecurity risk.
“We try to stand apart by helping MSPs quantify data risk and the financial impact to their customers and enable them to position themselves truly as that business advisor,” Meador says.
In this latest edition of Partner Playbook, Meador tells Tonya Gentry of Big Red Media/MSP Success what his goals are for building out the partner program, the new capabilities coming out in the third quarter, and what they look for in a partner. He also wants MSP to know that they can expect Cavelo to deliver the “meat and potatoes” of a true partnership. Watch the conversation to find out what the “meat and potatoes” are.
