Partner Playbook: Auvik On MSPs’ SaaS Management Opportunity

In this episode of Partner Playbook, Mark Ralls, president of Auvik, talks with Tonya Gentry, chief sales officer at Big Red Media and MSP Success, about how Auvik is helping MSPs transition from reactive to proactive IT management while enhancing their service offerings.

Founded in 2011, Auvik is a cloud-based IT management platform that helps IT departments proactively manage diverse networks, security devices, endpoints, and SaaS applications. Currently, Auvik manages one million network devices and three million SaaS applications across 100,000 networks, and provides monitoring services for more than 10 million devices. In September, Auvik rolled out three new capabilities: Northstar, a troubleshooting tool based on network path visualization; a new monitoring collection agent that runs natively on ARM64-based hardware; and an updated alerting engine, which allows for additional customized settings for alerts and notifications.

To date, the MSP-first company has raised $290 million through three rounds of funding. Ralls joined Auvik as president in June to lead the company’s next stage of growth (see Auvik’s New President Eyes MSPs’ Next Big Opportunity). Ralls previously served as president and COO of Invicti Security, and before that held leadership roles at SolarWinds, Social Solutions, and Vista Equity Partners.
