Florida’s Python Challenge wraps up this weekend, an annual event to rid the Everglades of the invasive Burmese python that is endangering the ecosystem, thanks to previous pet owners who dumped the snakes when they got too big. Hopefully you didn’t have to wrangle any giant snakes this week, but no doubt you were busy keeping customers safe. So we gathered some channel news from Guardz, Trustifi, N-able, ConnectWise, and more that you may have missed.

The Guardz Community Shield plan is available immediately. Interested MSPs can sign up for a free two-week trial and claim their free licenses directly within the product.
Trustifi Adds Automated DLP Rule-Setting Tool
Trustifi, an email security vendor, now provides preconfigured, one-click rule settings that allow MSPs to automatically implement the most commonly used set of data loss prevention (DLP) rules for the healthcare, financial services, and education markets; plus a more general setting that’s applicable to a range of global businesses.
DLP rules allow administrators to control how users can share and treat email content outside their given organizations, avoiding inadvertent exposure of sensitive material such as personal identifying information or financial data. MSPs can customize and modify Trustifi’s pre-configured rules to meet the individual needs of any client, as has always been the case with the solution.

“Since threat actors are automating attacks, we need to automate remediation. By providing this new feature, we can enable organizations to keep up with their regular maintenance while accelerating response to applications that pose more immediate threats,” said Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala, chief product officer at Ivanti, in a press statement.
