Excitement is building for the inaugural MSP Titans of the Industry Awards, with the first round of finalists just announced. Presented by MSP Success, the awards spotlight the MSP rockstars and unsung heroes who are making a difference for their customers and community through excellence, innovation, and commitment. The winners will be recognized at a red-carpet, black-tie Awards Gala on December 4, 2024, at the iconic Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
The evening will feature two special guests, comedian Jay Leno and basketball legend Magic Johnson. Leno will share hilarious stories and insights into staying at the top of your game. Johnson will reveal how he transitioned from a sports superstar into a wildly successful entrepreneur. There will also be live music, parties, networking, photos, and much more.
“The response for submissions to the inaugural MSP Titans of the Industry Awards, and the excitement surrounding this first-of-its kind recognition, have been overwhelming,” says Jeff Johnson, president of Big Red Media, parent company of MSP Success. “And it’s fitting that the winners will receive their well-deserved awards at a star-studded event that will be unlike any other awards ceremony in the industry.”
Overall, the 20-plus awards categories include regional providers, vertical industry providers, and specialty categories such as veteran-led, women-led, minority, led, under 40, and more. These categories are not restricted by size, revenue, or longevity in business and were open to MSPs of all sizes—from solopreneurs to Super MSPs.
How The Winners Will Be Chosen
A panel of judges, all industry titans in their own right, will be choosing one winner from each group of finalists. The judges are:
- Paul Cissel, CEO of Growth Caddie, M&A Expert in Residence with TMT, and senior advisor with Service Leadership.
- Kevin Lancaster, CEO of Channel Program, the world’s largest channel-focused technology marketplace.
- Gary Pica, founder of TruMethods, an MSP training program and peer group
- Robin Robins, founder and CEO of MSP Success and TMT.
The judges will choose the winners based on these three key parameters:
- Excellence: Customer satisfaction/customer experience, service delivery, profitability percentage, YoY consistent growth, etc.
- Innovation: Influence (author of a book, podcast host/guest, local media appearances, speaking engagements), new additions to service portfolio or new markets, partnering and affiliations, and more.
- Commitment: Involvement in the community/giving back, employee satisfaction/employee experience, etc.
“We named the awards ‘Titans’ because MSPs of all sizes are achieving greatness every day in their tireless commitment to help their customers grow their own businesses, keep them safe from cyber attackers, and advise them on the technology needed to meet their goals,” Johnson says. “Recognizing greatness of achievement is what the MSP Titans of the Industry Awards is all about.”
