N-able Adds Advanced Apple Device Management And Single Screen Automation Via Gen AI To Its RMM

The latest updates to N-able’s N-central RMM platform include advanced management capabilities for iOS and macOS devices, improved analytics and reporting, deeper integration of security and backup solutions, and generative AI for script automation.

N-central’s new macOS agent enables third-party patching, deploying and configuring profiles, scheduling tasks, and executing remote commands. With the new device manager for Apple, you can add devices automatically with zero-touch automatic enrollment for Apple Business Manager. Users can also manage and deploy App Store purchases to company-owned apps to Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs. Finally, the update includes fully integrated endpoint detection and response (EDR) powered by SentinelOne and cloud-first backup powered by Cove Data Protection.

In addition, N-central’s new generative AI features now automate the creation of scripts based on prompts. You can also leverage a user’s existing ChatGPT private account to help ensure their data remains confidential.

Included in the upgrade are pre-made dashboards for quick insights including device data, backup data, and patch information; a dynamic UI for deep analysis; and the ability to create custom dashboards and reports in minutes, with quick export in multiple formats.

N-able said it will also be introducing further enhancements to the platform in the next quarter, including an API refresh with new REST-based APIs that will provide additional capability, including arun script API and enhanced cloud capabilities designed to simplify Microsoft Cloud management.

US Signal Adds Second Data Center In Indianapolis

US Signal, a provider of cloud solutions, network connectivity, and data center services, acquired a second data center in Indianapolis that will have 300 available cabinets along with 24/7 staffing and multilevel security. The facility will also feature US Signal’s Cloud Pod, enabling private and multitenant cloud hosting. Deploying this within a data center and adjacent to client hardware enables customers to establish private connections to US Signal Cloud resources or direct connections to hyperscale providers, according to the company.

All critical facility components at the new data center are redundant, and efficient cooling solutions will keep temperature and humidity levels consistent. The data center is designed to Uptime’s Tier III standards and the site’s security includes storm and emergency response plans and multi-faceted recovery plans. The SSAE 18-audited, HIPAA-compliant, PCI-certified data center can also serve as a secondary disaster recovery site or as a component of a hybrid IT strategy.

“We are seeing increased demand for off-premises services and hybrid cloud solutions,” said US Signal COO John White, in a press statement. “We are committed to building out our digital infrastructure over the next five years. We’re building cloud, we’re building fiber, and we’re building data centers all to help our customers.”

Vade Partners With ApplicationLink To Integrate With ConnectWise And Autotask

Cybersecurity vendor Vade has partnered with ApplicationLink to enable MSPs to integrate with ConnectWise or Autotask. Now, MSPs can reconcile invoices from the Vade Partner Portal platform directly in their PSA system. The integrations enable MSPs to utilize Vade for M365’s ability to block phishing, business email compromise (BEC), ransomware, and more.

This partnership follows on the heels of the recently announced Remote Browser Isolation add-on, which expands Vade’s anti-phishing capabilities. The RBI add-on guards users from zero-day threats, hidden malware downloads, and other cyberthreats that originate from email-based links.
