CyberForce Security is a boutique value-added distributor and a white labeled managed security service provider (MSSP) offering MDR, pen testing, and endpoint protection solutions.
Founded in 2016, CyberForce Security aims to help MSPs break the barrier to entry with vendors by not requiring a minimum license count to get started with cybersecurity solutions. “Our motto is basically bringing enterprise solutions to the masses,” says Miles Dunbar, chief operating officer.
“You literally can start with a single endpoint with us,” he explains. “There’s no annual commitments. MSPs are billed entirely on a monthly consumption basis.”
CyberForce Security also allows self-provisioning, decommissioning of agents, and migration, Dunbar adds. “The MSP basically has full control over their tenant.”
He continues, “We pass our bulk buying power to those MSPs, so we’ve got great discounts from our vendors because we’ve been working with them a long time. We pass those along so that we can give better margins to the MSPs themselves. We give better pricing than going direct to the vendor.”
Discounts and Support
The distributor also aggregates all of an MSP’s endpoints, which helps them move up the tier faster for volume discounting.
MSPs can count on CyberForce for support too. “We provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support,” Dubar says. “We’re very familiar with all the products that we offer, and we want to make sure that we can give the MSP the best technical support that they can have.”
If the issue requires a Level 3, he says, “we bring the vendor in, we all communicate together, and that ensures that the MSP is going to get any issues resolved right there.”
CyberForce Security recently launched a new marketplace, which Dunbar details In this episode (below) of Partner Playbook with Tonya Gentry of Big Red Media/MSP Success. He reveals some of the new and upcoming features of the marketplace, how the distributor’s consultative approach can act as an MSP incubator, and why you won’t have to worry about resolving billing issues.
