Barracuda recognizes that MSPs all have competitors “knocking on the door,” says Greg Saenz, vice president of channels for the Americas. That’s why the cybersecurity vendor is focused on two key ways to help MSP partners: driving a platform play to boost their profitability and adding more value to the services they offer.
Today, Barracuda’s platform includes email, data, network, and application protection, along with Managed XDR (extended detection and response). The company rolled out the Barracuda Partner Success Program in December 2023 and has continued to enhance it, such as offering rebates for the first time last March. And in October, Barracuda made the Barracuda Managed XDR available to all partners, as well as new certifications for Barracuda Managed XDR and updated certifications for other offerings (including Barracuda Email Protection and Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup). It also added the Partner Sales Engineer Community last fall, which provides access to training labs, scanning tools, product demos and sandboxes, and rewards.
