At RoarCon this week in Houston, Liongard’s MSP partners got a preview LiongardIQ, a major new product evolution purpose-built to address the complexities of modern cyber resilience.
“Lion Guard IQ is the reimagined possibilities of how MSPs and MSSPs are able to get ahead of delivering intelligent asset discovery, asset inventory, real-time network monitoring, real-time Microsoft 365 monitoring, remediation, and ultimately helping them leverage AI to answer the actual questions that any of their customers might have about where they are from a cybersecurity posture perspective,” CEO Michelle Accardi tells MSP Success.

LiongardIQ unifies asset inventory, network monitoring, AI insights, and remediation into one cohesive experience exposing blind spots, surfacing vulnerabilities, and eliminating manual effort, according to the company. The AI-powered asset summaries provide contextual, plain-language insights with aligned guidance and broader support for frameworks like CIS and NIST. In addition, the platform detects critical changes across the stack and generates intelligent alerts on Microsoft 365 events. It also automates remediation and hardening. And MSPs can share dashboards and reports tailored for QBRs, compliance, and customer trust.
LiongardIQ Aims to Deliver What MSPs Need
Accardi says LiongardIQ has been in development since soon after she took the helm as CEO two years ago.
“When I got to Liongard, having been an MSP myself, I thought, this is an incredible capability to get visibility across the stack. But again, it could do many, many, many things. So as I started to think about, what do really people just want? We just want the answer. So how do we simplify and just give the MSPs what they need, which is to answer the customer’s questions quickly, to keep them more secure without having to deploy many more resources in order to make that happen.”

LiongardIQ leverages what she calls Liongard’s “incredible data lake” to deliver what MSPs need.
For example, she says, LiongardIQ continuously updates asset inventory and puts it in context. “So it’s not just the asset as a software or hardware; it’s the asset in terms of the user identities as well, and seeing what’s changing in the configuration state, continuously keeping a timeline of that in our audit trail and contextualizing it so that as things change that can create vulnerabilities, it’s brought to the forefront of the MSP.”
When an end customer calls with a problem, such as a website being down, the tech can “find the answer to what change could have broken that in seconds,” she says. “That changes the entire game for the help desk. It also changes the game for the NOC; let’s say they need to know which systems didn’t get patched or did get patched. The ability to pull that kind of reporting via using natural language search and AI, there’s just nothing like it out in the marketplace.”
Accardi says she’s also excited about one of the new tools in the platform called Hunter, which is geared for MSPs’ sales staff. “It helps them do external attack surface management reporting and scanning. Is it easy enough that the MSP sales team doesn’t have to go and ask service delivery or the NOC people to go run these prospecting types of attack surface management reports. They can do it themselves, then email out to a prospect, Hey, these are the things that we’re finding. We’d love to take a meeting with you to help you better secure your business, and then [there’s an] upgrade path to the full Liongard should they want to go deeper and make this prospect a customer and leverage the full Liongard guard stack.”
She adds, “We see it as a highly valuable tool that’s low cost to help the MSPs grow their business. We believe if we invest back into the MSP community and their growth, that will help in turn grow Liongard.”
How to Get LiongardIQ
LiongardIQ is an upgrade for current MSP partners, she says. “We’ll be converting them over at the same sort of price point that they’re at today into a user-based pricing model, and then they will be able to add on additional modules as their business needs grow.”
LiongardIQ is slated for availability in July. Accardi says early feedback from MSPs has been positive.
“It’s going to be a disruptor for the industry because of how it surfaces the answers so incredibly quickly to solve for a myriad of MSP use cases, the most important of which I would argue is the cybersecurity use case and really understanding you can’t protect what you don’t know.”
She adds, “Especially for those MSPs that are taking advantage of different frameworks like CIS or NIST, being able to utilize Liongard to understand how their clients are compliant against those different controls, how they’re mapping, what the progress is, reporting against that progress. These are things that our partners have been asking for quite some time and we’re now delivering on that.”
