Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that artificial intelligence is helping MSP technicians get information faster to make better decisions, or that ChatGPT can help you spice up your email or customer proposals. But you may be overlooking the power it can add to your marketing campaigns. So, whether you want to give your creative juices a jump-start or pump out unique and compelling content faster and easier, there’s a plethora of AI tools that can help. Here’s some I’ve personally tried and vetted.
Why Use AI?
There are three compelling reasons to use AI:
- It’s specialized. You can customize materials for your niche. For example, you can use a tool like ChatGPT to write something targeted for law firms or dentists’ offices.
- You can repurpose content. If you already have an interview transcript, you can reuse that to create videos or photos. It can become articles, blogs, or social media posts.
- It’s more exciting. Instead of posting a generic stock photo, you can create moving images or unique pictures that will stand out from your competitors. This means prospects are more likely to stop scrolling to look at your post.
AI Toolapalooza
Here’s nine AI tools that will revolutionize your marketing game. All of these offer free versions; paid subscriptions are available for more functionality and features.
Gamma.app
Gamma.app is a presentation builder. Instead of wasting hours creating a visually engaging slide deck in PowerPoint, give this a try. Just type in a prompt for what kind of presentation you’re looking for, who the audience is, and other information like that. Pick a theme you like and Gamma will generate the presentation. You can make changes as needed, but you’ll have a solid starting point for your presentation.
Leonardo.ai
Leonardo.ai can generate images and videos. Even with a simple, brief prompt, Leonardo can create unique, attention-grabbing images. It can also add movement to the photos it generates to make them more eye-catching.
HeyGen
HeyGen is great to quickly generate lots of personalized marketing content. You can upload a picture of yourself and spend a few minutes training the AI—you’ll make different facial expressions and say different phrases. This allows the algorithm to learn how you speak and move. Then, HeyGen can create videos for you. This drastically reduces the time you’d otherwise have to spend recording and editing marketing videos.
ChatGPT
Everyone knows ChatGPT can write a blog post for you, but there are other ways to use it that people don’t always think of. ChatGPT can also generate ideas or do research for you (just make sure to always fact check). Using ChatGPT this way can help you think of creative ways to market your services to your target audience. Additionally, you can adjust the tone of the text ChatGPT uses; options range from authoritative to whimsical.
Invideo.io
Invideo.io allows you to create videos with text prompts. When testing this program, I was able to give Invideo an article’s URL and a little more information about my business and target audience. It created a video using current events from the news to pitch “my” MSP’s services to small business owners. I was even able to tell Invideo to add a call to action at the end!
Pika
Pika creates very short, three- or four-second-long videos. Recently, the program added the ability to add sound to videos. All you need to do is give it a text prompt, and it will create dynamic content that’s great to use on social media sites like Facebook and LinkedIn.
Runway
Similar to Pika, Runway will create short videos from text prompts. The free version gives you about three seconds of content, but you can pay for longer-form videos. Dynamic images like these are much more eye-catching than static images—use them for your website and social media posts to boost engagement. You can also tailor images to your niche, instead of using the same grey-haired stock photo business guy as everyone else.
Synthesia.io
Synethesia.io can turn text into videos using AI avatars and voiceovers. Like HeyGen, you’ll need to train the AI on yourself to create personalized content. Alternatively, use one of the ready-made avatars, images, or voices.
Koroverse
Koroverse uses photos to create a narrated slideshow. There are several themes you can choose from, but the “Roast” option is by far the funniest. All you have to do is upload a few photos, add a title, and click generate. You can also add text or video captions to further guide the video’s direction. If you decide to give this one a try, be sure to take photos in portrait mode for the best results.
Speed And Frequency Will Boost Your Results
It can be hard to generate enough content to post as often as you should, but the development of AI tools like these prove that you don’t need a fully staffed marketing department to keep up with the algorithm. AI is able to churn out content quickly and cheaply, making it a great option to produce a lot of marketing content fast.
