Paul Cissel is an M&A Expert in Residence with TMT and a senior advisor with Service Leadership. A seasoned C-level executive with 40 years of IT industry experience, Paul spent the first 15 years of his career in roles of increasing responsibility, from Sales in a Fortune 500 IT company, to CEO for a venture capital group working out troubled investments. Since then, he is the serial founder of three startups, each of which were successful exits to Strategic industry companies with Venture/Private Equity backing. Along the way, he had a unique vantage point while engaged in more than 30 M&A situations to interact with many owners during their own exit. His most recent startup, Internet & Telephone, LLC was consistently in the Top 5% of all MSP’s in revenue, profit, service margins as well as a host of other benchmarks. Most recently, after selling Internet & Telephone, LLC to Onepath, Paul was the EVP directing Onepath’s acquisition strategy in conjunction with Onepath’s Private Equity sponsor.
