Introduced at Kaseya Connect Global by CEO Fred Voccola, this offering aims to address MSP challenges like vendor fatigue and limited budgets while delivering seamless integration at a fraction of current costs. Voccola asserted this innovation could boost MSP profitability by 30-50%. “Kaseya 365 changes the fundamental economics of the MSP’s business,” Voccola told MSP Success.

#2 Found Money
Did you know that 1 in 7 people in the U.S. have unclaimed property held by state governments? Last year alone, over $5.4 billion was returned to rightful owners. This serves as a reminder that hidden treasures are often closer than we think—including in your MSP business.
For over two decades, Robin Robins, CEO of TMT and MSP Success, has helped MSPs uncover “found money” in their operations. Whether it’s unbilled services, unprofitable client contracts, or scope creep in projects, these leaks can be easily plugged for significant financial gains.
At a recent workshop, a simple email campaign generated 85 opportunities for MSPs in attendance. One participant reported 60 potential deals within two weeks, leading to $225,000 in additional revenue. These opportunities were always there but went unnoticed until action was taken.
Don’t overlook areas like billing errors, unstructured sales processes, or missed upsell opportunities. Fixing these issues can turn a struggling business into a highly profitable one without the cost of acquiring new clients.

#4 Arnie Bellini: Why He’s Getting Back Into The Channel
Arnie Bellini, founder of ConnectWise and now a venture capitalist, dove back into the channel this year to address pressing industry issues. In this March interview with MSP Success, Bellini revealed his plans to combat tool sprawl, strengthen cybersecurity, and revolutionize MSP operations. His new ventures under Bellini Capital, including investments in ConnectSecure, Nine Minds, and Compliance Scorecard, aim to transform how MSPs operate.
At the Right of Boom conference, Bellini’s keynote highlighted the growing complexity of IT and security operations, often requiring 60+ tools that rarely integrate seamlessly. “Someone needs to fix it, and I’m that guy,” he declared. His approach combines innovation, integration, and affordability, offering MSPs tools that streamline operations and drive profitability.
Bellini is also tackling the talent shortage through partnerships with institutions like Saint Leo University, creating accessible cybersecurity training programs. Additionally, Nine Minds leverages AI to enhance help desk productivity, enabling technicians to upskill into cybersecurity roles.
Bellini emphasized that his ultimate goal is to foster choice and interoperability within the ecosystem, challenging vendors to open APIs and reduce costs. “I intend to die with very little money,” he quipped, underscoring his commitment to reinvesting in the channel that shaped his success.
Bellini’s next big announcement? A $9.2 million investment in TechGrid, a business workflow platform for technology service providers that aims to address MSPs’ struggle with tool sprawl, efficiency, and cost effectiveness, while creating a modern customer experience for their clients.

#5 Fake News: Extra! Extra! Lie All About It!
As a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, TMT’s Robin Robins has heard it all—from coffee being a health hazard to it being a superfood. Years ago, a chiropractor insisted she quit coffee, claiming it would harm her health. Thankfully, she didn’t listen. Today, countless studies affirm coffee’s benefits, from reducing risks of heart disease and cancer to lowering chances of Alzheimer’s. Sometimes, even the “experts” get it wrong.
This lesson extends far beyond coffee. You really can’t blindly trust everything you see, read, and hear from “experts.” As Mike Rowe, best known for his work on the TV series Dirty Jobs, aptly stated: Experts sound every bit as convincing when they’re wrong as when they’re right.
In business, as in life, it’s critical to challenge assumptions, seek evidence, and avoid forming opinions based on headlines or soundbites. Whether crafting a campaign or solving a problem, Robins digs deep—interviewing buyers, scouring industry insights, and testing rigorously. It’s tedious work but essential for uncovering truth.
The allure of “easy buttons” is strong, but real success requires embracing complexity and pursuing facts. In a world saturated with noise, those who seek truth—and act on it—will thrive.
Do you trust the “experts” and headlines without digging deeper? Discover why blind trust can be dangerous—and how to separate fact from fiction—in this thought-provoking article.
#6 Gut Check: Are You Making Mistakes In How You Package And Price Your MSP Services?
How you package and price your MSP services can significantly impact your business’s growth and profitability. Proper packaging and pricing not only ensure healthy margins but also enhance the quality of service by delivering a unique value proposition to customers.
Guest contributor Gary Pica, founder of TruMethods, offered four pointers for getting packing and pricing right:
- Importance of Margins: Many MSPs struggle with maintaining healthy margins, which is crucial for profitable growth. Building generous margins into your pricing prevents stagnation.
- Packaging as a Differentiator: Your service offering is your product. Clear differentiation from competitors and a compelling value proposition are essential. Good packaging explains why prospects should choose you, impacts their business results, and commands a higher price.
- Unique Offering: Assess your current offerings and focus on your unique processes and standards. Limit choices and options to refine your process and enhance value.
- Profitable Pricing: Base your pricing on costs, labor, and tools, aiming for a 70% gross margin. Use a seat price calculator to determine the correct pricing for your services.
- Reframing the Price Conversation: Showcase your unique value proposition to shift the conversation from price to the benefits and value you provide, such as reduced risk and increased productivity.
