Addigy Launches Two New One-Click Compliance Benchmarks
Apple device management vendor Addigy announced availability of its one-click deploy CMMC and DISA STIG (Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide) benchmarks. According to Addigy, MSPs and IT organizations that work with the Department of Defense or its contractors can now deploy hundreds of STIG and CMMC benchmarks in minutes. MSPs can ensure their customers’ iOS and macOS devices are in compliance even as the cybersecurity rules evolve because Addigy keeps its library of DISA STIG and CMMC up-to-date.
Just like with other benchmarks in the Addigy compliance library, such as NIST and CIS, MSPs can simply select DISA STIG or CMMC from the library to see all the rules and scripts. MSPs can click once to deploy them all or they can choose to deploy them over time.
In addition, MSPs can see the full breakdown of a specific device’s adherence to compliance rules from the Addigy dashboard. And with one click, MSPs can receive an email CSV that displays compliance statuses for every device in the organization.
“Complying with DISA STIG and CMMC is as critical as it is challenging. Between parsing through all the security rules and frequent updates, monitoring and building scripts for remediation, and reporting, it can take a tremendous amount of effort to meet the requirements, let alone remain in compliance,” said Jason Dettbarn, CEO of Addigy, in a press statement. “The newest Addigy benchmarks make it easy to meet and enforce STIG and CMMC compliance on all Mac devices. This helps organizations efficiently and robustly maintain continuous compliance, while providing new revenue opportunities for MSPs in scaling compliance for their customers.”

Customer Demand for Cybersecurity Drives Revenue Growth for MSPs/MSSPs
New research from EasyDMARC revealed that 62% of IT service providers, including MSPs and MSSPs, have experienced revenue growth in their cybersecurity offerings over the past 12 months, with 28% experiencing growth rates between 11-25% and 13% seeing growth of up to 50%. The research finds that this has been largely driven by customer demand.
Key findings include:
- 41% of respondents’ organizations have expanded their cybersecurity offerings in the last 12 months.
- Two-thirds of respondents see becoming more cybersecurity-focused as a competitive advantage for their business.
- Two-thirds of respondents expect email providers like Google and Yahoo to introduce mandatory email authentication (DMARC, DKIM, SPF) for more users in the future.
In addition, 21% of MSPs and MSSPs believe their clients are not proactive at all regarding cybersecurity. Another 21% view their clients as highly proactive, while the majority (48%) indicate that clients are generally proactive but could improve their approach. Despite these efforts, more than a quarter of respondents expressed minimal or no confidence in their clients’ ability to withstand a cyberattack.
A notable 72% of respondents believe that AI and automation will significantly influence MSP offerings over the next three years. The growing concerns around AI-generated phishing emails and deepfake impersonations are seen as the most pressing email security threats for 2025, as cited by 60% of respondents, with ransomware via email ranking third at 7%.
Finally, MSPs identify the main barriers to selling cybersecurity services as client confidence in existing protections (54%) and cost concerns (52%). Other barriers include a lack of urgency or awareness of cyber risks (39%), clients’ difficulty in recognizing immediate benefits (39%), and a shortage of in-house expertise (39%).
“Cybersecurity is becoming a non-negotiable aspect of business strategy, and it’s encouraging to see that customers recognize this need,” said Mike Anderson, global channels director for EasyDMARC, in a press statement. “The data shows that customer demand is the main catalyst behind increased investment in cybersecurity resources across IT businesses, a clear indication that companies are taking proactive steps to protect themselves from quickly evolving threats, though there is further room for action.”
